Launching Only What Matters stems from my deep desire to fill a void, that I perceived as a consumer, in the fashion industry. And I believe I'm not alone in this sentiment. Unlike the glitz and glamour of red carpet events, I find myself disconnected from the obsession with who wore what and where, and the constant pursuit of new trends. Instead, I strive to create a style that truly resonates with my identity and evolves alongside me.
In my quest for a wardrobe that seamlessly blends together, I also yearn for guilt-free shopping. It's important that the pieces I own are not only aesthetically pleasing but also ethically made. I am committed to ensuring that the talented individuals behind each creation are fairly compensated and work in safe conditions. Careless production is simply not an option. It should never be.
If ever asked, "What sets your brand apart?" I never want to respond that I am dedicated to embodying sustainability as a fundamental principle. That is the bare minimum. I believe that sustainability should be the standard for responsible creators. As a brand, I understand the importance of constantly questioning myself and striving to maintain environmentally and socially responsible practices. What I hope to especially achieve with this project is to create an ecosystem of creatives that promote art and culture and celebrate individuality.
